At 29, bone cancer put Daniel Ray Hilsinger in a hospital bed — where he first picked up a guitar. Writing songs and singing helped ease his pain and fear of death. After re-learning how to walk, he started busking up and down the West Coast of the US. Since then he’s toured across the U.S. and Europe.
His songs are born from life’s hardest moments and most tender memories. His upcoming album, “Nothing Lasts Forever”, is a testament to his late father, love, loss and the fleeting beauty of life.
